The Walkington Singers

The Walkington Singers were a group of ladies who raised money for
charity with their concerts, which featured a selection of popular songs, interspersed with a little humour. They began with just 5 Women’s Institute members who got together to entertain fellow members at their 1981 Christmas get-together.
Sadly they disbanded late in 2021, after 40 years of entertaining audiences in and around the village. They will be missed!
