About us

The village of Walkington is in the East Riding of Yorkshire in England.  We are close to the ancient market town of Beverley and the city of Hull.

The area is a perfect base from which to explore the East coast, the North York Moors, the Wolds (including 'Hockney Country') and the historic city of York.

Go to the How to Find Us page for maps of the area, or the Food & Drink page for information on places to eat, drink and stay in the village.

There is a tourist office in Beverley: it can be found on the first floor of the Treasure House/Library next door to the Magistrates court on Champneys Road.

Telephone: +44 (01482) 391672
e-mail:
beverley@ytbtic.co.uk

There is also a variety of airbnb (and other) rentals in the village.
