Walkington Pond Wildlife Committee

The committee is responsible for the welfare of the wildlife on the pond and the general environment of the area, excluding buildings and structures.

For 50 years we have been dressing the pond with lights at Christmas and organising the carol concerts and the attendance of Father Christmas. This is an event that has been enjoyed by hundreds of Walkington families over the years. Sadly the passage of time has depleted our membership and we are seeking new members on our committee.

As Ernie, the founder of our committee all those years ago would say, "You will be as
welcome as the flowers in May".
